Its been over 20 years since i made my first pot on the wheel.  Assembling wheelthrown pieces with handbuilt parts and slabs which  turned  out to be a very enjoyable yet an impressive challenge, since many of these were made on a
large scale
.

More recently my inspiration has taken me on a new journey, leaving somehow behind the functional theme and introducing the abstract.

Through a  sculptural work  i have been exploring new dimensions of perception.

These new sculptures,  inspired by natural forms and eroded shapes, acquire a playful mood and invite us to relate to them through  endless possibilities of connection.

In the past year I've discovered a new venue for my creativity: web design
I'm enjoying webdesign as much as i enjoy making ceramics.
Please stop by and visit me at www.minervawebdesign.com.

I am Venezuelan born now living and working in Houston TX.  USA.
If you are interested in ceramic/pottery private classes or in having your own website, please do not hesitate to contact me.
